Outcomes : Cervical Decompressions

“Cervical decompression” is a term attributed to a surgical procedure to decompress the spinal cord or a pinched nerve in the cervical spine. It encompasses 3 related surgeries: foraminotomy / rhizolysis, microdiscectomy and laminectomy. These procedures are performed via small incisions in the back of the neck and can be done in a “keyhole” or minimally invasive manner or the more conventional mini-open technique.
